With so many ideas out there about how the shift will happen, how do we know what to believe?

It is strange that the issue of discernment would be highlighted as a result of the post on Ben’s Blog. I’ve been thinking about discernment for sometime, and now I’m encouraged to share the thoughts I’ve had concerning it.

We hear so many rumors and so many reputable people telling us when and how the shift will happen – or already has happened. These people are kind, caring people, people for the most part whom we respect. How are we to tell whether or not they speak truth? Just to give you an idea of the ideas that are out there, here are some of the views I have heard – as I remember them in a very general way:

1. A couple weeks ago we heard there was already a shift, but that apparently there would be time for many to change their minds. I inquired about the possibility of a magnetic pole shift, and was told it doesn’t seem likely.

2. According to Carl Calleman, the Mayan calendar will finish on October 28th, and we will then move into the new calendar cycle about that time. There is also a new date that we are hearing more strongly in conjunction with October 28, 2011  which seems to be important, the November 11, 2011 portal (11-11-11). As I see it, Carl Calleman’s views are already being changed by ‘real’ events on the ground, because the financial collapse has not yet happened quite as he predicted, although I believe it will.

To be fair to Carl, I believe he has worked directly from the Mayan calendar, but likely has not taken into account the fact that we can create the shift that we want, an idea that I think  may give his ideas a generalized validity. This fact reminds me of Gregg Braden’s ideas in his book The Isaiah Prophecies, in which he states that since Isaiah understood quantum theory’s worldview, he was giving us possibilities. Since we didn’t understand quantum physics, we mistakenly interpreted Isaiah’s prophecies to be linear; that is, one event to follow after another. 

3. Somewhere I read or heard Drunvalo say that the Kogi were quite surprised when their prophecies ceased to be accurate. When they saw the lights from the Merkaba all over the planet, they realized, however, that we humans were affecting the end times.

4. I believe I’ve heard that Edgar Cayce’s prophecies are no longer accurate, which, again, makes sense if we are affecting the outcome of the Shift, as I’ve come to believe we are.

5. Then along came Georgi Stankov with his ideas of how the shift will happen. He states that the Comet Elenin is a Mother Ship of the Galactic Federation and will trigger the visible separation of earth into two planets, A and B sometime near the end of October. Georgi kindly commented on my blog, asking me to email him to get the second half of this article, but so far we have not been able to connect. In that email, I asked him if he would care to comment on the fact that the scientist, whose name Elenin has, Leonid Elenin, now has stated that Elenin is breaking up. I hope he will respond and clear up any confusion on our part.

6. Finally, last evening I came across the beautiful channeling that Metatron gave to some members of the United Nations, in which he states that there will be no drastic, traumatic shift, but that it will take place gradually, over a period of several centuries. 

What are we to conclude from all these various ideas? Here is Drunvalo with a suggestion that makes a lot of sense to me – from an old post:

Now to another important subject. James Tyberonn is a channel supposedly bringing Lord Metatron through to speak with you. Realize that less than one percent of all the channels on Earth are real. The majority are simply speaking through their own egos and calling it what they may.

And further, all channels, real or not, are extremely dangerous to follow because no one knows for sure who is really speaking. It takes time to know who is really speaking. Just because he says it is Lord Metatron does not mean that is who is speaking.

A channel opens themselves to the universe, which anyone, including you, can do, and it is like making a random phone call to anyone on Earth. The person who answers may tell you the truth of their real name or they may go along with you and say they are who you are asking for. And then, why would they know any more about a certain subject than anyone else? It is a real problem in the channeling world, and it is therefore extremely dangerous to believe them or to use their information.

Yes there are a few very important channels on Earth, such as Kryon, but you still have to be very, very careful before you accept something as true.

There was a small group from the Pleiades who entered our consciousness back in the 1980′s. They first contacted Billy Meyers and then several other channels. Everyone thought at first they were on our side. But then it became obvious to many that they were not. They had banded with the Greys and the Reptiles, and their sole purpose was to eliminate the human race. And you have to understand, these beings are vastly more intelligent than a human being and can appear in any manner that they want you to see them. Your belief in them means absolutely nothing.

And it is interesting that the method this Pleiadian group was using to separate humanity is almost identical to what is being used with James Tyberonn. They would go on and on about a subject and 99.9% of it was the truth. Almost anyone reading their statements would believe that it was the truth. They would continue with the truth until the heart of the audience is wide open, and then a deception would secretly take place. In the middle of a paragraph they would insert something that is definitely not true, but since you were agreeing with them on everything up to that moment, the human being simply allows it into the mind as true, even though it is not. To be clear, the purpose of doing this was to divide humanity so they could conquer.

If you want to believe James Tyberonn then that is your right, but I would suggest you stop listening to channels, and learn how to enter into your own heart. All knowledge and wisdom is contained there, and it will never be a lie or deception. It will always be the TRUTH. Trust yourself, and believe in yourself. Find the Sacred Space of your own heart, and you will not need anyone but yourself and the Source of All Life Everywhere that lives, and has always lived, within your heart.

What I conclude at the end of this exercise is that we need to continue clearing our emotions so that we can make as strong, clear, and accurate a heart connection as possible to our own inner truth, and in the meantime, we can see it is foolish to get caught up in one idea or another. We all sense that huge changes are coming, that the shift is real, and that it will happen in God’s own appointed time. While I delight in chronicling what is going on, because I don’t want to miss a moment of it, it seems we will do best and stay off an emotional roller coaster—and I include myself here—if we observe and follow the daily happenings, but don’t give too much of our power away to first one idea and then another.
