Rand Paul endorsed Mitt Romney on Thursday, one day after the Kentucky senator’s father admitted that he wouldn’t have the delegates to take the GOP nomination for himself.
“My first choice had always been my father,” the younger Paul said of his father, Ron, during a Fox News interview with Sean Hannity. “But now that the nominating process is over, tonight I’m happy to announce that I’m going to be supporting Gov. Mitt Romney.”
Romney, in turn, released a statement saying he was “honored” by Paul’s endorsement, and explaining why the freshman senator’s support could be of value to his campaign: “Paul has been a leading voice in the effort to scale back the size and reach of government and promote liberty… as President, I will reform the federal government and make it smaller, simpler, and smarter.”
The Romney campaign is likely hoping that a Paul endorsement (either could work, really) will help swing the weight of libertarian, Tea Party, and conservative voters behind the GOP nominee in what is shaping up to be a tight race to November.
But if the comments over at the Daily Paul are any indication, some Paul supporters are unlikely to support Rand’s decision. A small, unscientific sampling: “Rand has lost my support, he has sold us all out period!”; “Note to all of the Romney trolls, this will get no one from the Liberty movement voting for your candidate, it will only kill Rand!”; and “I will NEVER support Rand ever again… EVER.”

As for Randy Paul we should not judge him to soon, some times you have to act as you betrayed everyone so that you can get into the lions den , to slay the lion.
That would be awesome to see Romney get arrested. Hardly any of the establishment are innocent and came by their wealth the good old fashioned way, hard work and playing by the rules. Ron Paul would certainly get the nomination as he has support of half of Romneys delegates. It is easy to pass all those spending bills because money is just printed paper. Those spending bills never made it to mainstreet either, otherwise a can of tuna would cost 10 bucks. Inflation is held down except for oil which has been manipulated and can only be high because the demand for dollars is way down (petro dollars). Libya, Iraq, now Iran wanting to trade oil for gold or dinars or euros. Debt free nations at one time in near recent past will now be debtor nations to the central bankers. BUt not for long!!
Tom, I think you will see Romney – and a great many others arrested, as well. Hugs, ~Jean
Romney will be arrested, which leaves Paul to get the nomination !
Thomas, I love the way you think, and totally agree as the evidence is stacked against Romney. I pray we all devote our focus to the things that matter, and not this corporation acting as a government. We haven’t had a government for over 200 years and we don’t need one now. We are united here and I believe we can unite all over the world. Let’s shed some light on that idea of which I take no credit.
Webster Tarpley is saying some interesting things about the Ron Paul Campaign. His view is that the Ron Paul Campaign was designed to work in conjunction with the Romney campaign in order to split the Republican “protest” vote between Paul and the rest of the Republican field and that Paul’s job in the debates was to attack Romneys rivals, thereby never allowing a real challenge to Romney to threaten his nomination.
The payoff for Paul in all this is that, Rand Paul is going to be Romneys running mate (Vice President should he win) heading into the general election.
Make of it what you will, but it makes more sense to me that anything else I am hearing.
This is quite possible, but I don’t think Ron Paul would enter into those kinds of negotiations; however, let’s wait and see. Hugs, ~Jean

Has anyone read the recent White Hats report? Rommey’s name is mentioned several times – and not in a good way……I think Jean is right. Things are not adding up.
Ana, thank you so much for this! I was looking and looking for the Report, but then I simply forgot. . . so much to follow, almost too much! By the way, Romney is a big-time criminal. That info has been out there for a very long time. . . .Hugs, ~Jean
just a reminder, there are no saviors in Washington DC….both parties are two sides of the same corporate coin………..we need a new party just as Webster Tarpley explained in his interview at Bilderberg last week………….Tarpley was right again………..
also, from Icke; Jean this is interesting:
I agree Jean. They either promised Rand a position to try and get the Ron Paul voters on board the Obamney, excuse me, Romney express (good luck with that) or they made him an offer he couldn’t refuse (i.e. threats against him, his family, or his father).
No, I don’t see it that way – I think Ron and Rand know what they are doing . . . but I haven’t figured it out yet. There isn’t anything I know at this point, but I can’t imagine Rand would depart from his base and family so easily. I think his dad’s in there somewhere – maybe counting votes. Who knows . . . Hugs, ~Jean
PS The NWO might not be aware – they may see it as you do . . .
I never thought of it that way. Who knows what is going on behind the scenes and how this is playing into the bigger picture of the taking down of the cabal.
i wonder if they could spread the b.s. just a bit thicker…
LOL
Zany, I haven’t figured it out yet, but I think there is likely a political move going on here that we don’t yet understand. I just can’t believe that Rand Paul is innocently going to hook up with Romney. I’m watching it. Hugs, ~Jean
