Who is Drunvalo Melchizedek? – first published here on April 30, 2011

I don’t expect any of you to believe this, although I do, maybe because I have studied with Drunvalo and spoken with him. As far as I know now, he is still the only non-Mayan permitted to speak for them. In order to be chosen by them, they did ceremony, which from my experience is profoundly related to the world view of quantum theory. During ceremony Source spoke to them in some way usually through nature, approving him as their spokesperson. This is not something you can make up or force to happen. The Source either responds, or it doesn’t. In this case, it responded by telling them Drunvalo should be their choice. In my opinion, it is more proof that the unseen is more powerful – and more important – than the ‘seen’, or visible. ~J

This post is . . . an excerpt from rebirther Bob Frissell’s book, You Are a Spiritual Being Having a Human Experience (Berkeley: Frog, 2001) [This exceptional little book is on our book list. ~J] on Drunvalo and the class of beings called the Melchizedeks. What Frissell says about Drunvalo is quite interesting. (Pages 24-26.)

It also helps explain a cryptic comment that Drunvalo once made that:

“I have known Lord Metatron from before the creation of this universe, and both of us are on every single major council on every level in this universe, along with other people of that region, of course. I know exactly how Lord Metatron feels and thinks about this subject, and he would never say anything as silly as XXX has said in his statement.” (1)

Known Archangel Metatron since before the creation of this universe? How can that be possible? Bob Frissell explains how it can.

The Melchizedeks

Drunvalo’s second name is a the name for a special class of beings who have attained the ability to move freely throughout the 144 different worlds or dimensions of reality that make up our “octave” – our region of the universe.

They have encompassed all the levels. They know the whole scale. All the different perspectives, all the different modes of consciousness, are freely available to them. They can tune in to the different vibrational levels at will.

When a person becomes a Melchizedek, he or she is faced with a choice. They can leave this part of the universe altogether and enter into a thirteenth dimension – a dimension that exists outside the octave. It is a new world where everything is different.

In contrast to this, when we pass from one dimension of reality to another dimension within the octave, that is, within this part of the universe – when we pass, say, from the third to the fourth dimension – things will be different in many respects, but there will be a basic connection that links the different levels. Each higher level will be a wider view of the ones below. (2)

But when you leave the octave, nothing whatsoever is the same. You enter a whole new space. To do so is to begin a whole new phase of existence, to enter upon an entirely new phase of existence.

But the Melichizedek does not necessarily leave the octave. There is another choice: to remain in this octave and serve as a troubleshooter for problems that arise here – problems affecting life as a whole, or the interrelationships between the different levels, or problems that arise between this region of the universe and the universe as a whole.

A Melchizedek who makes this choice is a bit like what the Buddhists call a “bodhisatva” – a being who has foregone the possibility of entering into nirvana – of becoming a buddha – for the sake of assisting other sentient beings.

Drunvalo long ago made this decision. At the present he is on an assignment in our world that is intimately connected with helping our planet pass harmoniously on to the next stage of its own evolution.

In order to fulfill his mission, it was necessary for Drunvalo to take the form of an ordinary mature human being and to live his life among us without the appearance of being a magical or supernatural entity.

It was necessary that he really be an ordinary person in order to communicate most successfully with as many of us as possible. If you have the opportunity to take a workshop with him or to see his video tapes or hear him speak, I am sure you will agree that there doesn’t seem to be anything very out of the ordinary about him at all. As a matter of fact, he actually is an ordinary human being at the same time that he is a Melchizedek.

This is because Drunvalo is what we call a “walk-in.” A walk-in is a being from a higher dimensional reality who has made a benevolent arrangement with an ordinary human being so that he can occupy a human body and personality to fulfill his task. Drunvalo “walked in” in April of 1972. The person whose body he now occupies agreed to pass on, in exchange for which his spiritual evolution was sped up and enhanced.

Drunvalo says that when he first  entered his host’s body he could remember most of what his actual identity and life had been. But shortly thereafter, the vividness of these memories faded, and so, today, though he has access to higher dimensional realities in meditation and by other means, by and large, he is pretty much like any other human being.

The truth is however that he is a higher dimensional being having a human experience – and he knows it.

Sorry….I used to listen to him, until he was implying that humans would not ascend…unless they paid $400.00 for a ‘class’…. Sigh…

    • Jean says:

Deb, I think you have it all wrong. Drunvalo doesn’t say that at all. He thinks the merbaka is the best tool, but he himself says there are many other ways that are being taught. Again, though, why do folks think things come ‘for free’? Everything costs, and we seem to find the money for the things that are important to us. When we get a certain financial equality, I wonder who will be willing to pay . . . hmmm. . . Hugs, ~Jean

  2. erikbullon says:

who was in his body when he divorced his ex wife’s? , i guess he divorced few other hundren women in other worlds too , that’s not the kind of example i want to follow , sorry.

  3. mc says:

From my understanding Christ was a walk-in also… He walked into Jesus body when he was baptised … and He lifted of Jesus’s body when he was on the cross and said “why has thou for saken me”… Drunvalo seems to be a good guy…..
