Three French police have been wounded in a new outbreak of unrest in a Paris suburb, police sources say.
The unrest erupted late Friday in the Grigny suburb of Paris, after a police unit tried to settle a dispute between around 20 people.
The crowd responded by firing shotguns and lobbing petrol bombs at the police.
According to police, two of the officers were wounded by shotgun pellets and the third by a firework used as a rocket.
