WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange sees no reason to celebrate the reelection of US President Barack Obama. The US aggressively pursued and “persecuted” the whistleblower site under a Democratic administration, he explained.
“Obama seems to be a nice man, and that is precisely the problem,” the 41-year-old told AFP, speaking from his room in London’s Ecuadorian embassy.
“It’s better to have a sheep in wolf’s clothing than a wolf in sheep’s clothing,” he said. “All of the activities against WikiLeaks by the United States have occurred under an Obama administration.”
Assange was equally critical of the Republican, saying it “has not been an effective restraining force on government excesses over the last four years.”
“There is no reason to believe that will change – in fact, the Republicans will push the administration into ever greater excesses,” he added.
The WikiLeaks founder sounded hoarse, but refused to comment on his health. Last month, Ecuador said it had requested a meeting with British officials to discuss claims that Assange was losing weight and suffering vision problems.
Assange claimed asylum in the embassy in June to escape extradition to Sweden for questioning over sex crimes allegations. He denies the charges, and believes that if extradited he would then be sent to the US, which regards him as an enemy of the state, where he would face prosecution and possibly the death penalty.
WikiLeaks angered Washington in 2010 by publishing hundreds of thousands of classified US documents on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as diplomatic cables from US embassies around the world. Washington retaliated by forcing companies to cut off WikiLeaks’ sources of funding.

There was a time I had respect for Assange. Not so sure now. I think the world has moved on, but he hasn’t.
WE all have our roles to play ……… Assange is playing his in the information age , Jean is most right No need for judging . Obama became the 44 President with 44 days away from Ascension , add 44 plus 44 you get 88 ; a bouble infinity sign of never ending WOW………. ponder that a wee bit and go deep with in your very beings ,and become that thought as there is only two paths to go , one is FEAR the other is LOVE& LIGHT …………… for the only one who will be judging YOU is ( YOU ) AS of today there is only 7 weeks to Dec.21 2012 you people only have that 7 week window to be one or the other .
I believe the only reason for Obama himself to stay in the office is that he is afraid of damaging his career and I don’t think he cares much about the rest so does the rest of the team. I think it goes like this:
1. Rothschild’s and committee of 300 care only about power and money. They want to control the world by any means necessary. All the people employed by them merely their puppets, they do what they been told or they are out.
2. Corporations – care about nothing but the profit.
3. Politicians – looking for the highest bidder so they can sell to them.
4. Other business owners – care about their business survival (growth at this point is not the option) while trying to provide for their families.
5. Employees surviving from one Friday from next, excitement about going to work are the forgotten words.
6. Welfare people – trying to stay on welfare so they don’t have to work.
That about sums it up. We are the creators of our realities and those are the realities we have created.
Original plan: People co-existing with Planet peacefully by respecting themselves and taking care of themselves and Planet, treating other people with equal respect and many other positive moral aspects. What we have in reality I don’t need to say we all have eyes to see that.
That’s about it.
I do thank Assange for doing what he can to reveal the information. It is very easy to be critical but in truth how many could do the same thing or something simmiliar?
This too might be erased like so many of my comments do here and there … but the Divine Positive judgment will judge us all …

Just as old man Moses …. I believe Obama has been chosen to assist in seeing the people through to the promise land … and that he will be forgiven for the wrongs he’s participated in … but those who so willingly deceived and harmed Mother Earth and Her people … will not be so forgiven …
I have no problem posting this, but I’m sorry to see the judgment at the end. I think we need to get beyond judgment – and maybe that means getting a life that is full of our own creations that we don’t have time or inclination to sit around and judge. What do you all thinK? Hugs, ~Jean

Debbie…you said a mouthful, and most all I agree with. As far as Netanyahu and the obamanation “despis[ing]” him, I wouldn’t trust appearances too far. The obummer was, according to sources, the choice of Queen E and the Rothschild Illuminati mafioso bankster cabal, of which she and the rest of the “crown” are simply figureheads. Netanyahu and Israel are simply the CEO and intl oil company, inc., of the Rothschild families. The Mossad is more or less their own private black ops “security team” disguised as “secret police.” The Mossad motto is to use any and all deceit and trickery (ie, there’s no evil that’s too evil for them) to defeat “their” enemies. And their enemies are anyone opposed to the Illuminati banksters and their drive for a NWO/OWG controlled by them. I can’t offer much defense for the actions of Obama the Barbarian when it comes to drone bomb killing and shredding our Constitution by way of hundres of executive orders, it seems he wants to hand the USA over to the UN a busted, broke and divided newly minted third world country….and I liked Romney even less…………….but, when it comes to Assange – I think we have to remember that he has been linked to Netanyahu and Israel Mossad operations…….I don’t trust Assange and his motives any more than I trust Netanyahu…………….as far as I am concerned….one of the benefits of Obama 2nd term is that he seems to despise Netanyahu…and that is a VERY GOOD THING………
