THE SHOWDOWN: TODAY IN FISCAL CLIFF NEWS (Washington Post), December 21, 2012

Today in fiscal cliff news: House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) sought to shift responsibility Friday to President Obama and the Democratic-controlled Senate to reach an agreement to avert a series of spending cuts and tax hikes after his fellow Republicans delivered a stunning rebuke to Boehner’s own plan to raise taxes on those making more than $1 million. Boehner said he continues to favor a grand bargain with the president that would set the stage for a dramatic overhaul of the tax code and significant changes in federal entitlement programs. “How we get there, God only knows,” he said. Savinia, I have found Sheldan Nidle’s work to be invalid. To my way of thinking, He has control issues and keeps telling us things will be done for us and to us, and this is not at all the way I see it, because I believe it is up to us to make the changes for ourselves. Many members of my blog agree. It has been a very long time since I have published anything from Sheldan. Hugs, ~Jean

Do you ever get the feeling that this is nothing more than theatrical pretense? Meaning, this is just a cover for something MUCH BIGGER coming? I’ve been listening to my internal (heart) voice lately, and that’s what I THINK that it’s been telling me. Any thoughts?
