Here’s a positive option for this misplaced fear: Go down to Alabama and get their “brother-in-arms”, who has held an innocent young boy hostage in his underground bunker for days now, to release the boy unharmed. (Although this kind of inflicted trauma is potentially very harmful.)
Compassion for the boy not aggression, don’t you think?
This is so tragic. Sad leftovers from the old south. Nothing of Christ, of America, of Love, of Spirit, of Being Awake, of Being Aware, of Service to others here. Fear and selfishness rule. If this type of consciousness were let lose, much violence and rule by gun would ensue as they would shoot anyone they felt threatened by.
There is a difference. Choose fear or choose Love. There is no other choice that faces us.
