Matt Taibbi sees bright things in Elizabeth Warren’s future.

Taibbi’s praise came after Warren embarrassed financial regulators during a hearing Thursday by asking them when they last brought a Wall Street bank to trial. In an awkward turn of events, the officials didn’t have an answer.

Taibbi’s hopes for a Warren presidency are perhaps not surprising, he called for a Warren 2012 ticket in 2009.

That was my thought as well… it was such an odd feeling to watch someone with honor and integrity asking the questions no one has dared to ask on Capitol Hill, in a public forum. Warren is shining a light in some very, very dark places….
