While it is uncertain when voting will begin to elect a new pope, the outgoing Pope Benedict XVI could enact a new law affecting the upcoming papal conclave. The details of the law have not been made clear, while a Vatican spokesman confirmed that the law’s connection to the timing of the conclave is also still unclear. He only added that the law will contain some “clarifications” on various points. Presently, cardinals have to wait 15 days after the end of a papacy to launch a conclave for eligible cardinals to arrive in Rome, making the supposed date March 15. But because the current Pope hasn’t died and no funeral will be taking place, the two-week delay might be open to change. The Pope’s general audience will take place on February 27, with his final meeting with cardinals set for the next day.

Now, didn’t pope Benedict say that he was abdicating because of his bad health? I guess he can’t be feeling that bad if he has the strength to do this kind of stuff. I guess we can REALLY see now just how much of a lie that was.
For what it is worth: the newest ‘Matthew Message’ states, that the papal figure which is represented to us is actually a clone and because the clone is ageing rapidly it had to be taken out. The real Pope is well and looks much younger. And I suppose he has all his faculties still very much in tact.
We can all just sit back and wait for the changes to roll in, however they pay out.

Well Queen Lizzie was scheduled to kiss the new pope’s ring on March 9th. She may have to call her travel agent again… Why not skip the pontiff vote thing altogether & save the time & expense–since most are no where near being worthy or able to be what they purport the pope to be–”the Vicar of Christ on Earth” and let the Church run (further) amuck and just wait for Christ’s Second Coming & He can sort it out!
darn – I was hoping it would be something useful, like changing the law so the recently stripped-of-his-duties Cardinal Mahoney would NOT be part of the conclave. Heaven forbid a good pervert lose his vote, eh? sheesh -
