Does anyone else think that these “sharp spending cuts” are going to happen no matter what, and that this showdown, or whatever you’d like to call it, is just a ruse?

John Boehner Calls Eliminating Food for 1.7 Million Americans ‘Common Sense Cuts’
February 27, 2013
John Boehner won’t tell you this, but the “common sense cuts” he referred to that would avoid the sequester, will eliminate food for 1.7 million Americans…
Cuts the House has passed twice would end funding for the “Meals on Wheels” program. Meals on Wheels serves up to 1.7 million seniors with food security issues. According to Meals on Wheels,

Oh, my! thanks and hugs, ~Jean
Senator Elizabeth Warren really is very, very good at nailing the problems and teaching the country in easy to understand language what’s going on. The thing I found most striking in this interview of Bernanke is the kind, compassionate and loving way she made her teaching points Yes, Bernanke was stumbling but it is because of the indefensible position he is having to support and not because he was “grilled” or “put on the hot seat” in the traditional sense of Capitol Hill hearings. Actually, what Bernanke got was a powerful blast of loving kindness and energy and I don’t think he knew how to handle it. .
In my opinion this video is a perfect example of the power of love when it’s welded to a brilliant, knowledgeable mind. I’m thinking this combination might explain why Senator Warren is an unusually powerful freshman Senator..
Bernanke fumbling over his words…CLASSIC! Didn’t I read something about Bernanke drinking in a bar talking about how the dollars that we use are worthless? I guess the only way that he can tell the truth is when he’s drunk off his a**.
