(Reuters) – Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was admitted to a New York hospital on Tuesday after a fall at his home and was expected to be released later in the day, New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center said in a statement.
A hospital spokeswoman declined to give more details.
Kissinger, 89, has remained a leading voice on U.S. foreign policy since serving Republican Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford in the 1970s.

I need to make a grammatical addendum to the above comment to this sentence “However, the first organized protest against the Bolivarian government occurred in January 2001, when the Chávez administration tried to implement educational reforms through the proposed Resolution 259 and Decree 1.011, which would have seen the publication of textbooks with a heavy Bolivarian bias. I thought that there was a grammatical error in my research material when it said Bolivarian instead of Bolivian. I totally forgot that one of Hugo Chavez’s hero’s was a fellow by the name of Simón Bolívar (1783–1830). Bolívar was a 19th-century general who led the fight against the Imperialist Spanish authorities. Hugo Chavez wanted to create textbooks for children that wanted to be heavily influenced by what he knew about Simón Bolívar’s exploits, instead of having textbooks for children that were accurate.

However, the first organized protest against the Bolivian government occurred in January 2001, when the Chávez administration tried to implement educational reforms through the proposed Resolution 259 and Decree 1.011, which would have seen the publication of textbooks with a heavy Bolivian bias. The protest movement, which was primarily by middle class parents whose children went to privately run schools, marched to central Caracas shouting out the slogan “Don’t mess with my children.” The protesters were denounced by Chávez, who called them “selfish and individualistic.” This is from my research and it mentions just ONE of the bad things that Hugo Chavez did, so please do not say that he was a good man who only had the best interests of his people in mind. Just because you don’t agree with something doesn’t automatically make it disinformation.

Agreed Mike, Chavez also allocated, through Citgo (Venezuela oil), emergency home heating oil to disadvantaged Americans. I remember years ago when George W. was still pResident and spoke at the United Nations…Hugo Chavez followed him to the podium and commented that the ‘smell of sulphur’ was permeating the air where George W. had been standing! This was a reference that George W. was in league with the devil. I thought that took a lot of guts for him to state that at that time (and I agree with him). xoxo Dee
Hmmm…Queen Beatrix, the pope, now Hugo Chavez and Henry Kissenger…wow! It certainly seems to me like somebody’s putting all the pieces into place for SOMETHING big to happen.
He had his role to play as did George Bush had his role to play and his father had his role to play and everyone else on planet earth are having there role to play….. THE OLD GUARD IS COMING TO AN END…..And the young people are holding the LIGHT in Nations of hate to other humans young and old . No one can judge him…. he grow up in a time of WAR’s and a mind set of hate passed down to generations to generations over the last 80 or so years.
