I’d like to make the following statement in response to the great conversation/dialogue started by a reader, Arend Lammertink in his Comments on my blog under the post FYI: Zen Gardner gives his opinion of OPPT: OPPT or Co-opted? Look Before You Leap.
In my opinion, OPPT is not an exercise in POWER, as in POWER vs. FORCE (see the important book by the same name, written by David R. Hawkins). I think OPPT is first and foremost an intellectual exercise, and our response to it requires little to do with any response from our hearts, which I think spiritually oriented people agree is our true source of personal POWER.
Drunvalo Melchizedek’s ideas would seem to help clarify the problems I see associated with that which we create from our brains. He states that, since the brain is an instrument of Duality, anything conceived in the brain will indeed create what we want, but it will also create the opposite response, as well. In other words, pray for peace from your head, and you will get peace, but coming in right behind it, just as sure as can be and perhaps much to your surprise you will also get war. If/when the world prays for peace from its heart, since the heart is an instrument of Unity, we will get only peace. This was the great fallacy which I believe the very popular book, The Secret, never addressed. By the way, FORCE here as defined by Hawkins, is a way of control that comes from outside ourselves, and of course the information we are using to try to bring down the cabal, to control it, does come from outside ourselves. It has not been generated from within.
The visual image I will always carry with me of true Power vs. Force is of that single person in Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989 Square standing in his POWER before a tank (outside FORCE).
I think OPPT was conceived in our brains, and so I think its complicated required processes will not succeed in helping us to actually deal with the criminal matrix that is presently collapsing. What it may be doing, and I grant it this and see it as an important step along our way, is awakening people’s intellects to what has been going on. My experiences with Drunvalo have also taught me that to reach people’s hearts, it is often necessary to begin with helping them to understand intellectually with their left brains. This seems to create a doorway into their right brains, and thence into their hearts.
Early on, for example, when Drunvalo began to teach the Merkaba, he found that our hearts were so shut down, he had to give us almost a week of intellectual, left-brain understanding of our ‘real history’ before he could even begin teaching us the Merkaba, which is by necessity created from our hearts. This history and workshop material was finally put into his absorbing two-volume work, The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life. Now, after many years of effort on Drunvalo’s (and others) part, the consciousness level on the planet is so much higher that although reading this history is recommended, teaching it per se is no longer necessary before beginning instruction in the Merkaba., Instead, the emotional work of ‘getting us into our hearts’ in order to establish the Merkaba can begin right at the outset of a workshop.
So, in this regard, I think OPPT is very likely doing a great and important service in using our intellects to hopefully open and finally reach our right brains and then our hearts. It would seem this might be its role, but in my opinion that is all it can do. For real change to take place, each and every one of us needs personally to begin the incredible inner journey from our heads into our hearts. If the intellectual understanding given by the OPPT helps with this, I’m more than grateful. I just wish they weren’t advertising it as the final answer, because as much as I wish it were just that, I don’t think it can be. For me, it simply doesn’t fit with the higher vibrational frequencies we are all experiencing.
Let me also say here that I’m appreciative of all the discussion about this topic that has taken place in the last days on my blog. Without it, I would not have had the chance for myself to understand more clearly my own feelings about OPPT and to better formulate the opinion that I am stating here, which by the way may not be final. If we can simply talk about things calmly in an open forum, which permits the ideas of others to be freely expressed, I have found we can all learn so very much, so to those of you who have participated in this effort, and particularly to Arend Lammertink, I offer my thanks.
