Churches ‘on fire’ over “Marketing of Evil”

What a surprise awaited me on this one! I thought somebody’s figured out how churches have been duped into buying into anti-gay and no-abortion ideas, all used to divide humanity and create hatred! The write-up sounds like this is what the book could be about, and from my perspective I would have been delighted.

Sadly, not so!

I invite you to Click Here to go to Amazon and read a few lines from the book, which is all about still more hatred and more divisive evil. Scott Peck’s words are used – well, upside down! Can it get any more 1984 than this? Check me out, please. Have I got it right? Or am I going crazy, too? ~Jean

The Marketing of Evil is having a profound affect on congregations all over America.

One pastor said, “Jolted me awake just as surely as someone bursting in my bedroom…”

It’s one of America’s most talked-about and controversial culture-war books, but David Kupelian’s “The Marketing of Evil” has recently been lighting a fire in one place that many believe really needs it – the nation’s churches.

From small-town churches and prayer groups to one of America’s largest Presbyterian congregations, Christian leaders and laymen are buying the book, sometimes by the case.

Now in its 12th printing, “The Marketing of Evil” – subtitled “How Radicals, Elitists, and Pseudo-Experts Sell Us Corruption Disguised as Freedom” – has been widely acclaimed for exposing the secretive ways evil has been foisted on modern America. Documenting the brilliant marketing techniques commonly employed to “package, perfume and gift-wrap” destructive behaviors and beliefs to make them appear good, Kupelian even includes a major chapter on why Christians have been as vulnerable as everyone else to the “marketers of evil.” Leading pastors, rabbis, churches and religious groups have been sharing it with their flocks, and – in many cases – saying they’ve been profoundly impacted.

“The book jolted me awake just as surely as someone bursting in my bedroom and shouting, ‘Your house is on fire!’” said Pastor Claude T. Stauffer of Calvary Chapel of Hope in Long Island, N.Y.

A member of his congregation approached him, Stauffer recalls, and “told me that as a pastor I needed to read that book. He was serious – so serious in fact that he said the Lord put it on his heart to purchase enough of the books to give one to every person in our church.”

Stauffer read it carefully from cover to cover.

“The book and its message took hold of me in a profound way,” the New York pastor said later. “When the books were offered to the congregation they eagerly received them. In a few days we ran out of books and had to place a second order. People are reading the book and sharing it with others. The Lord is using that book to open eyes and hearts.”

Calling “The Marketing of Evil” a “classic, critically important book to understand the age in which we live,” Stauffer says comments from his congregation have been uniformly positive, including one member who said: “My son who’s 15 doesn’t like to read. He never reads anything. But he can’t put this book down.”

Another minister who has been sharing Kupelian’s book with his flock is R.S. Brewer, pastor of the Gilbert Independent Baptist Church in Gilbert, Ariz.

“Before I finished half of the book, I felt the leadership of my church should read it also,” Brewer said. “I ordered enough books to give to those I felt would, or should, read it. It was obvious to me the author of ‘The Marketing of Evil’ had discernment, above his peers, that could have only come from God and His Word.”

Asking his flock to “read chapter 10 first” – the one on today’s Christian churches – Brewer gave out copies of the book “on Wednesday night after our Bible study.” By Sunday morning, he said, “I had some agitated children of God who had not only read chapter 10, but had finished the book and passed it on to their loved ones. One of my prayer warriors, who is retired Navy and a real servant of God, as well as an America-loving patriot, grabbed my arm as tears began to well up in his eyes and said, ‘Pastor, I cannot believe they have done this, and I let them.’”

“What ‘The Marketing Of Evil’ has done,” said Brewer, “like a sermon from Jonathan Edwards or Charles Finney, is to turn the light of Truth on the corruption and decay, that we who name the name of Christ, might realize what we have failed to see, and failed to act upon. The cure is not political – it is spiritual! David Kupelian has been used of God to expose the corruption that we have ignored, or been blinded to for too long.”

Undoubtedly the biggest single church to share “The Marketing of Evil” with its congregation has been that of the late D. James Kennedy, who before his death was the world’s best-known and most influential Presbyterian minister as founder of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Calling “The Marketing of Evil” a “powerful new book that I wish every Christian in America could read,” Kennedy took the dramatic step of printing 15,000 paperback copies – with “Special Coral Ridge Ministries Edition” on the front cover – and sent a copy to thousands of financial supporters.

In his special introduction to the ministry’s paperback edition of “The Marketing of Evil,” Kennedy wrote:

This is a remarkable book. Here, between two covers, author David Kupelian dissects and exposes the brilliant and malignant techniques employed by merchants of evil who “sell us corruption disguised as freedom.”

The effort to change America’s mind on issues like abortion, homosexuality, church-state separation, and more is not a happenstance undertaking. Instead, as Kupelian shows, it is a well-thought-out strategic campaign that uses the methods of Madison Avenue to market rank lies.

But the good news is that by God’s grace, the truth will eventually win out, and Kupelian’s important and groundbreaking book makes enormous progress toward that end. It brings into the light these works of darkness for all to see.

Other national ministries as well as Christian education organizations have also adopted “The Marketing of Evil” as a key tool of ministry. In fact, as Tonya Lee, director of development for There’s Hope America puts it: “‘The Marketing of Evil’ is more than a book; it is a tool from which we can know how to combat the secular agenda we’ve tolerated for far too long.”

American Vision has also long promoted “The Marketing of Evil.” The organization’s founder, author Gary DeMar, calls “The Marketing of Evil” “one of the best books I’ve read in a long time on what’s really going on and what we can do about it.”

Other Christian and Jewish leaders have extolled the book and its ability to make plain and understandable the hidden tactics being used to negatively transform America. Among them are:

Hal Lindsey, author of 20 books including the mega-bestseller “The Late, Great Planet Earth”: “David Kupelian’s book is like a giant x-ray machine that exposes the atheistic, secular left’s brilliant marketing campaigns aimed at seducing America away from its founding Judeo-Christian faith. If you want to know how such a thoroughly decent country as America could go so wrong so fast, you simply have to read ‘The Marketing of Evil.’”

Rabbi Daniel Lapin, founder of the American Alliance of Jews & Christians: “Over just a few years, life in America has become indescribably more squalid, expensive, and dangerous. Like the dazzling disclosures in the final page of a gripping whodunit or the fascinating revelation of a magician’s secrets, ‘The Marketing of Evil’ irresistibly exposes how it was done. It will elicit an involuntary ‘Aha!’ from you as you discover who did it, and your soul will soar with optimism as you discover the only way we can undo it. In year to come Americans will acknowledge a debt of gratitude to David Kupelian for his honesty, courage, and laser-like insight in this must-read book.”

Dr. Ted Baehr, chairman of the Christian Film and Television Commission: “David Kupelian’s new book ‘The Marketing of Evil’ is brilliant! He combines superb common sense (that is so rare in our society) with the important biblical command to expose ‘the fruitless deeds of darkness’ (Ephesians 5:11). By doing so, he breaks the spell of the carefully marketing lies that are destroying our civilization, and sets the stage for revival and reformation.”

Hundreds of reviews on attest to the book’s powerful influence on readers:

  • “It will affect me forever. This is perhaps the best and most freeing book I have ever read on the popular culture at large. It rings true at every level, and has changed the way I view things in the most freeing and encouraging way!! … An absolute masterpiece!!”
  • “Opening this book is like turning on the Sun. … Mr. David Kupelian has written a remarkable book that reveals how the American public has been taken down the slippery slope of moral relativism.”
  • “I finished “The Marketing of Evil” over a month ago. It absolutely changed my life.”
  • “Prepare to see your world with new eyes!”
  • “This book has put a powerful voice to many things that truth-loving people in America have felt in their spirits for a long, long time. … I like my medicine straight and my truth even straighter, and this book delivers, with no apologies or flinching. … I for one am forever changed.”

Meanwhile, Pastor Claude Stauffer of Long Island, who co-hosted a series of hour-long radio interviews with Kupelian in New York, said simply: “I encourage every American and especially every Christian to read ‘The Marketing of Evil.’ First you won’t be able to put it down. Then you won’t be able to remain seated any longer. Maybe, just maybe,” he adds, “this is what the Lord wants to use in our nation and in our churches so that instead of being burned down, we will burn bright with a righteous flame of revival.”

When September 11 happened, those who were sensible enough knew that The sins of America had distant The Almighty God, who had always been there. The unguided judges are still not aware by now that all the hurricanes, the different shootings in America today are as a result of the allowances created by congressmen for people to freely indulge in practices that are abominable. One of the chief reasons jihadists are provoked against Americans is their relentless effort at making evil an intergral part of the system. Male dogs dont sleep with male dogs, neither do goats and sheep’s. Human depravity has reduced human beings to a level lower than that of animals. It is getting clearer that America is going down and they will keep at that because they have driven God out of their system, even nations that is not half as mighty as they would be the ones to bring them down. Anyone who reads scripture should see how God used other nations to chastize Israel when they were involved with evil, and should see that it is the same thing that is happening now. American prospered, in commerce and industries and became a world power because they held on to the creed on which they were founded, but with the amount of sin in America today the devil has made America the ground for evil. Abortion is murder, homosexualism is evil, and prochoice gives the allowance for people who Cannot tell what is evil from what is good.
This book will take You back to your root • This book is the best thing that has happened to the world in recent time .

  3. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to
my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!

  4. wade says:

so sad that they are buying into the very thing they fear. They are being duped into hatred of their fellow man. Didn’t the Master Jesus teach: love thy neighbor and do unto others as you would have them do unto you. The churches have totally turned their backs on what Jesus tried to teach them 2000 years ago. Instead they worship him (which is NOT he wanted) instead of following his teachings as a way to the Father. Do the think they can get into “heaven” while they have one drop of hatred for another human being, they have been spoon fed evil so long they think it is righteousness!

    • Austin says:

But too many people regard disagreement as “hatred.” I can speak from direct experience, that very few Christians feel a single drop of “hatred” for others. There is pity and profound disagreement, and the sincere belief that modernity has turned its back on plain old natural morality, let alone Judaeo-Christian religion. But I have only seen hatred in an handful of hardened people.

Did Christ not tell the fornicating woman to repent, just the same as he told the Pharisees not to cast the first stone? Morality causes people to be like God; immorality causes people to fall into the void of enmity against God. God is not pleased by human suffering, by murder, by the pain of promiscuous relationships that go nowhere, by greed, etc. What is so sad about many modern people, is that they have no problem criticising “greedy” people or “hateful” people – or even people who eat meat and drive SUVs – but they find it beyond the pale when somebody criticizes a woman who has been promiscuous, who murders the fruit of her promiscuity, etc. If it is fair game for you to criticize Christians and say that they are all acting with “hate” and “evil,” where do you get off thinking it isn’t fair for them to have the same criticism of you? Why is it that, when they point out the immorality of the left, they are “full of hate,” but when you call them names and attribute their actions to evil, you are somehow not “full of hate” in the opposite direction? Do you suppose it’s possible that neither of you are full of hate, but simply disagree?

      • Jean says:

Austin, it is clear to me from your words that you are not yet fully informed in your thinking. No one is saying all Christians are bad. In fact, as with just about everything, there are layers upon layers of truth that have been hidden from us. There are truly many devout, good Christians, who are going to have an extremely hard time dealing with the fact that much of the leadership in the Catholic Church is criminal. Does this make all Christians bad people? I hardly think so.

The same goes for Mormons. More often than not, they are very good people, and I think they, too, will have great difficulty dealing with the fact that George Romney, a supposedly devout Mormon is little more than a criminal with all kinds of ties to criminals – and the same for many of the leaders in that church.

I can say the same thing for Masons, as well. My grandfather was a proud Mason, but he died having no idea at all of the corruption at the heart of the organization. He devoted his life to doing good works . . . which is what these criminals hide behind, they lead good people to do good work, while in their darkness that commit the most unspeakable crimes.

I don’t know if this very brief bit of info helps to inform your thinking a little, but I hope so . . . there is plenty of reading on my blog that will inform you with lots of facts. It should not be about the divisions the dark has planted among us, but about all of us coming together in Unity to unseat these criminals from their control of us. . .

  5. The Energy Doctor says:

I am looking forward to getting the book. Somewhere in this world, the solar system or wherever is a God, a Higher Power, a Creator. whether this entity (he or she!) is a Catholic, Muslim or Presbyterian doesn’t matter.
What matters is the vast majority of what is taught in my Faith is good, a worthy recipe for life. If some of the leaders are Khazars, Evil, ET’s, the Illuminati…..Well, I look forward to finding all of that out, hopefully sooner than later.
I would counsel those who continue to want to package all people of a Faith as “in on the secret” or being duped. In the end, we will be judged for the life we lead.

  6. White Feather says:

Luckily these kind of books are on the decline. Amazon has been flooded with “christian themed” books to the point where Kindle readers are complaining and want a more diverse offering. It seems that since the powers that be know people are waking up they want to provide them with pseudo wake up philosophies. Just as some Jews are duped by Zionists, I’m sure many Christians are going to fall for the repackaged bigotry and hate. It seems that these are phases humanity has to go through before it can tell the difference between spirituality and propaganda.

    • Austin says:

Right, the ancient, universal and ubiquitous human morality – strive to support yourself by the fruit of your own labor, form committed family groups based on natural law, and use your natural appetites, faculties and organs for their natural purposes, honor God [or the gods] – these things are “repackaged bigotry and hate” and “propganda.” Meanwhile, the insane new ideas: use your body however you want, satisfy every carnal impulse immediately, exploit the natural feelings of charity and kindness to guilt people into tolerating twisted behaviour and accepting the State-sponsored theft of their money and micro-management of their lives, etc., these things are all the happy, life-affirming truths. Read some history. It happened in ancient Greece, Rome, Israel, and in Medieval France, and Germany, and in modern England, exactly as it is happening here. A culture is built on the ancient morality. A culture always falls apart and turns to barbarism, precisely as it turns away from traditional morality. Read Juvenal’s satires on the Roman Empire during it’s decline. He complains that women were going around having sex at will while taking steps to make sure that they never conceived or, if they did, that they could murder their children in the womb or after birth. He complained that homosexuals were daring to pretend that there could be such a thing as gay marriage, that foreigners with no appreciation for traditional morality were being imported into Rome by the truckload and being given unearned citizenship, and that scores of people were getting rich on shady business deals all made possible by the State, which was had also begun to hand out free bread from the granaries in exchange for loyalty from the people. In other words, it was exactly the same then, as now. I pray that you wake up and see, but, just like nobody in Juvenal’s time paid attention (and the Empire continued a steady decline until a bunch of hillbilly peasants from the forest could actually conquer the place), I don’t suppose any of the open-minded people who think they’re pushing us into the “future” (i.e., repeating the same old mistakes from the past, that they’re too foolish to recognize) will pay attention this time, either. We’ve reached critical mass, and now it is this civilization’s turn to crash and burn. Then I suppose people will rediscover morality and love of God, until they become prosperous and forget again, themselves.

      • Jean says:

Again, Austin, I think your thinking is uninformed as to the reality of that which is really going on on our planet at the moment. Are you aware, for instance, that scientifically we are at the end of an Age? Are you aware that the old paradigm is collapsing, as it must, because vibrationally we are moving to a higher level of consciousness? Unless you inform yourself of these basic facts, i tis my opinion that any statement you make is lacking and without validity. . . Hugs, ~Jean

  7. Roberto says:

The truth of the matter goes a lot deeper than this book. What a pity that those who profess to be “Christians”, “Jews”, and “Moslems”, have never dug deeper into the real history of what they now believe to be “gospel truth”. If they knew that Jehovah was one of the Annunaki Gods, i.e., an ET from Nibiru they would probably crap their britches.
Enlil, who was in charge of the mission to mine gold on this planet 455,000 years ago, was never interested in the welfare of the slave race that his son Enki, and daughter Ninhirsag, a master geneticist, spliced together from homo erectus and their own genes. Enlil was only interested in them as a resource, a human resource (that phrase sound familiar?). His son Adad carried on his hatred for the hybrid race. He assumed the identity of the bloodthirsty, vengeful, woman hating, sadistic personality called Jehovah. Check out the old testament, it’s just a shortened version of the more compete tales told in clay tablets that survived the flood. Zecchariah Sitchin translated the tablets and they tell the true story.

Even a cursory glance at the bloodthirsty, women hating, warmongering attitudes of the Jews, Christians and Muslims would show their common origin. And don’t look to the Catholic Church for spiritual guidance. They have covered up the truth for centuries. Burning at the stake is one of their specialties… Don’t forget the Inquisition. They sponsored Hitler and his fellow satanists who burned their victims alive in ovens. They weren’t gassed. They were burned alive. Satanists love sacrifice and burnt sacrifice is even more effective for creating terror. Fear, war, pain and suffering create psychic energies that the black magicians gather up and use for their own purposes.

You may think this way out, but all of this will be coming out soon, after the Extra Terrestrials, who are also our brothers and sisters land. This all has to be confronted before we move on the next dimension.

    • Jean says:

Roberto, I’m aware of all this, as are many of my readers. Recently, I also posted a long article about the Jesuits, a not-nice group of men! Hugs, ~Jean

  8. Ara Liora says:

Whew! Some people really aren’t finished with the 3D experience.

    • Ethaos says:

OK I am done with you “Ascencionalism”…

I am so tired of this esoteric nonsense!

Bring me a living 13th dimensional being who is willing to take their time out from such a higher celestial existentiality to spend one minute explaining to me why it’s OK for innocent human children to be slaughtered to prove there “higher karmic law”…

      1d 2d 3d 4d 5d 6d 7d 8d 9d 0d…

The enumerations on the dice of dungeons and dragons…

The whole schematic of other dimensions is a mind game!

The patriarchal control paradigm that this planet has been abused by for eons is nothing but a construction of “penis without a brain”! Women know who their progeny are, without a doubt or question they are your offspring. Men on the other hand can be duped into believing a phalicy (mispelling intended!) and forced into bondage in our wonderful western culture!

Please don’t get me wrong because I chose my attitude and numerology for a reason.

“I can prove I know everything about these phenomena if you gib me a trillion dolla granta”

Mr. Reese would be proud of those curves that allowed her to pass his class in ninth grade!

The entire Phallicy of current human culture is bent on domination of one half of the species by the other! The predominant deities have switched gender and that duality needs to end! whether or not ET is among us does not make a differrential. What matters NOW and Forever After is the decisions we make moment to moment…

I know where I will go when I die!
      I have no doubt!
      I have no questions!
I am not concerned about the serendipity of numerology!
      Hell holds no fears!
      Heaven no orgasms!

  9. Edwin says:

Does it spew hatred of those that do not conform to the teachings… or teach love and tolerance? The “church” has indeed lost its soul… but, not because of evil marketing.

  10. Lance says:

I haven’t read this book and won’t. But the churches, at least not most Christian churches, have not, in your words, “been duped into buying into anti-gay and no-abortion ideas” since homosexuality and abortion have always been considered sinful by Christianity, and gravely sinful by the Catholic Church. It is the proponents of these, primarily ‘Jews’ who hate Christianity and are out to destroy the family and the churches that support it that use these to, again, in your words, “divide humanity and create hatred!”

    You have it backwards.

It really is a communist plot, and remember, it was the ‘Jews’ — at least those who call themselves Jews though they are by-and-large Edomites — who established communism and implemented it in Russia, killing 65,000,000 Orthodox Christians in the process. The are stealthily doing the same in America. They want us dead under their new world order.

    • Jean says:

Yes, I see that I do, Lance. Thanks for helping me out! I can’t believe how crazy they all are – taking Scot Peck’s words and twisting them – and I suspect that is only the beginning.

Also, Lance, I did listen to Mahala and Mona with you on the radio tonight. It was a terrific, interesting show. Thanks so much for sharing the link with us all here.

      • Ethaos says:

The Jews are just the first branch of the Schizophrenic Abramhamic Tree of Death, next came the denied, crucified, then Romanized Catholicism, and to finish the Unholy Trinity a final Demon from the Desert MommaHater…

The patriarchal pedophilic sytem has come to an end…
If they refuse to relinquish control it will be taken from them!
