Full Moon Phase – Moon in Leo

Ruling Mahavidya: Matangi

A blanket of energy comes down this weekend to quell or soothe anything that is in a state of unrest, distress, fear, mistrust, disequilibrium, chaos, disorganization, powerlessness, or incompletion.  A great number of people will “awaken” to the truth of the world during this Moon phase.  Full Moon phases bring the most amount of light that enables us to see.  The collective of humanity is imprinted with this energy through the full embrace of Sophia.

But we always remember that full light can be blinding and hurtful and at some point or another, each of us will struggle to stay positive.  Sadness and depression can creep in sometimes.  We fall subject to harsh criticisms and judgments of ourselves.  It can be hard to stay cognizant of the true story that we are the creation of the Aeon Sophia and engaged in her vision in real-time.  This Moon phase’s blanket of energy will help with all of this.

Some will respond aggressively to the blanket of energy because there is a countermeasure in operation to incite as much as possible.  Astrological conditions make this weekend tempting for them because the vast feminine force is at work.  But they have no understanding of the feminine and are thus driven to try and destroy it.  I say try and destroy it.  There’s no chance for that under this energy.  Nothing that is undertaken now that is based in fear will have any long-term chances.

Special thanks to wise owl Gail for this photo from Pennsylvania.  The picture says it all.

Powerless? I sure feel it: And a fair amount of anger, frustration. That enough of us aren’t standing up. That consideration for one another is at an all time low:(

Janel it can look that way-there sure are enough mean people still kicking;-/ but crime rates have been dropping, community involvement and community based things like Transition Town initiatives, permaculture classes and community gardens and tons of other efforts to help the less fortunate and make our communities better have been quietly starting and growing, under the media radar, but still there for those who reach out to get involved.
The mean people, the petty, those who go out of their way to hurt and cause harm do get to me, they stomp on my last nerve-but they are becoming less and less powerful as the good and Light in us all is growing.
There is a song in the movie The Crow that has a repeating line “Sometimes it’s hard to believe that Love will Prevail…..but it can’t rain all the time”

I often think the world we live in right now is much more like that movie than most people want to admit;-) It is dark and dangerous and the bad guys really make a mess-but in the end love DOES prevail (in a rather messier and more violent way than i think we are aiming for) but the end result is hopeful.

It looks that way to me now-there is a lot we will mourn, a lot that really is sad and bad and wrong, but in the end Love will prevail and hope will be reborn in us all. The sad things will become wistful memories as we set to work building the positive new world.

Agreed. I read this first thing Saturday morning. Looks like we’re in for a lovely weekend. You can’t beat this thought for good news: **Nothing that is undertaken now that is based in fear will have any long-term chances.**
