This is a program that was sponsored by Al Jazeera, which is thought to be supportive of Empire. Is this just lip service? Forgive me if I am skeptical that there is any real internal power being expressed here, but I find the discussion to be without passion and very weak. The ‘ways’ of dealing with situations that they seem to be supporting just aren’t working — at least not right now. I believe humanity will soon create an entirely new way of moving forward. . . ~J

South2North is joined by two African Nobel Prize winners – Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who chaired South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission; and Kofi Annan, the former secretary general of the UN; as well as Dr Gro Harlem Bruntland, the former prime minister of Norway; and Hina Jilani, a Pakistani human rights activist.
