The US Economy Is Days Away From Shutting Down

I am very careful about publishing Dave Hodges’ work, and the only reason I’m putting this one out there is that it holds some very important information. Is the economy ‘days away from shutting down”? Maybe, maybe not, but again, study and check out the the facts he presents.  ~J

A Telling Report From Tacoma

The Global Economy Has Officially Crashed

The BDI has officially reached record lows. A global economic collapse is underway.

The BDI has officially reached record lows. A global economic collapse is underway.

The Baltic Dry Index has officially hit rock bottom with unprecedented lows. The forces behind the Trans Pacific Partnership have effectively used their influence to greatly stall the delivery of critically important commodities until the TPP is fully implemented among its member nations.

Who is responsible for the crash caused by the failure to move product through the world’s ports?

Trans Pacific Partnership, Was Initiated at U.S. West Coast Ports on February 13, 2015

The above headlines tells who is behind what is happening, it does not tell you how bad it is going to get. The unions are refusing to backdown and it is for darn sure that the TPP will not backdown either!

The backlog of ships is a crisis being done on purpose because the private multinational corporations want to empty the shelves in supermarkets nationwide for three or four weeks is designed to force the American people to approve the blackmail contained in Trans Pacific Partnership. This is the economic end-game which will permit these multinational corporations to become nation-states across the planet.

Most Americans will fail to notice the threat until they can no longer purchase food in the super-markets, or mail-order prescription medications are not shipped. The sheep of this country will still be in denial that this could ever happen. The  unions have now been idled, at major American shipping ports, because the multinational corporate owners of the shipping companies are keeping their ships filled with perishable goods at sea until all governmental opposition to the fast-tracked TPP is ended. Watch this video and listen to the what LA City Councilman, Joe Buscaino says when he states that even if product were to be off-loaded, in force, today, it would still take six to eight months to “get back to normal”. The United States economy does not have six to eight months to recover. It does not have six to eight days to survive the economic Armageddon that is coming.

Meanwhile, While We Slept

While the United States is fully preoccupied with global crises ranging from the fight against ISIS in Iraq and Syria, and the conflict in Ukraine, there is another development on the world stage which threatens the economic health of every single American and American based business. Specifically, I am referencing the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP). The protocols of the TPP establish a free-trade zone/bloc stretching from Vietnam to Chile and Japan. The most draconian free trade agreement in history includes nearly a billion people which encompass almost 40% of the world’s economy. Since Obama failed to fast-track the TPP into law last year, he has made amazing progress and America is nearing its fate with economic Armageddon.

Transferring the American Economy to a Corporate Dictatorship

As America races toward her date with destiny, there is yet another “fundamentally transforming” event coming her way and that event is known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

Many of us in the media believe that some of the effects of the TPP will be felt before the coming war and martial law crackdown. However, after careful analysis, I am convinced that the brunt of the TPP will be felt after the America we know has been totally taken over in a post-war and post-economic collapse scenario. At the end of the day, it does not matter when the implementation of the TPP comes, because when it does, America will no longer be recognizable to anyone who has grown up in this once great country.

The Implementation of the TPP Is Progressing By Stealth

tpp 2

Some of you are reading these words have no idea what the Trans-Pacific Partnership consists of. Most of you have never heard of it. Some of you have heard or read the term, but fail to realize the extreme danger that the implementation of this so-called trade agreement will mean to America and our way of life. A scant few are coming to realize just how dangerous the TPP truly is. For the record, the TPP is masquerading as a free trade agreement involving the US, Australia, Japan, Canada, Brunei, Vietnam, Malaysia, Chile,  Mexico, New Zealand, Peru and Singapore. The TPP is much, much more than a free trade agreement.

With regard to the TPP, ignorance of the organization is understandable. We in the truthful part of the media have not fulfilled our duty to fully explore the ramifications of the TPP because so little is publicly known. Obama has taken full advantage of the cloudy environment and is preparing to even bypass the constitutionally required approval of the Congress before implementing the TPP through a process called “fast-tracking.”

Obama Is Bypassing Congressional Approval

Under the TPP, GMO labels for US food would not be allowed. Also not allowed is any form of Congressional oversight.

President Obama is indeed seeking Fast Track Trade Promotion Authority for the TPP as he feverishly attempted to get the deal done by the end of the year. The REAL reason that the cargo container ships are backed upon our ports is because the TPP and Obama is holding all the parties hostage until they get what they want., the fast-tracking approval which will allow Obama to completely ignore Congress in regard to allowing Congress to fulfill its statutory duty in approving all trades.  Obama, on behalf of the TPP wants to break the unions and all power of any ancillary support group, which is why are seeing products backed up in our ports. Under such an agreement, this would permit Obama to sign the trade agreement “without Congressional approval.”

All action, emanating from the U.S. government, with regard to the TPP, is secret. When something is secret and kept from you, it is usually very bad for you.

After “Fast-Tracking,” Obama would send the finalized agreement to Congress and this would subsequently force a vote within 90 days. Congressional debate would be very limited and no amendments would be permitted. Even if Congress wanted to protect the American worker and the American economy from devastation, they cannot if Obama obtains the power to fast-track the TPP.

Let’s be clear, Obama is violating the separation of powers principle of the US Constitution by leaving Congress in the dark and by limiting their ability to use their Congressional powers as they would with any other legislation. The rumors of the TPP policies are so horrific that even the Kool-Aid drinkers from the Democratic party are calling on Obama to allow more transparency. Congress is asking Obama to allow for more transparency? I did not know that we passed a Constitutional amendment which states that Congress works for Obama.

The TPP Represents the Total Loss of US Sovereignty

The TPP is the brain child of the corporations. The TPP places all member nations directly under the control of the TPP instead of their respective national governments. Congress has been denied access to review any of the documents. Alan Grayson (D-FL) was granted a special exemption to view a small part of the TPP and he was told by TPP officials to keep his mouth shut as Grayson recalls that “They maintain that the text is classified information. I’m a member of Congress, but now they tell me that they don’t want me to talk to anybody about it because if I did, I’d be releasing classified information.”  Do you realize what this means? The corporate controlled TPP has granted themselves the authority to exercise the governmental power of classifying documents and Congress is included in the exclusion. Do you understand that this means we are living in a corporate dictatorship? It gets even worse.

Meet Your New Government: Monsanto and Walmart

tpp 4

As if it is not egregious enough that Congress is not allowed to view TPP documents, the 600 corporate officials, who form the TPP panel (e.g. corporate officials from corporations such as Monsanto and Walmart, have complete control of the developmental process of the TPP. Obama, Monsanto and Walmart can view any part of the process, Congress and the American public cannot.

Further, a leaked chapter of the TPP speaks to the creation of a TPP Tribunal Council which will have the authority to force member nations to transform its laws, its civil procedures, its criminal procedures, even its electoral process, in order to abide by the TPP Tribunal dictates. The bottom line is that we are witnessing the destruction of the Constitution and the entire legal code of the United States, because once the tribunal makes a ruling with regard to a national law, there is no appeal. The Tribunal consists of unelected bureaucrats who are appointed by the creators of the TPP. The term of office for Tribunal officials is unlimited.

The most disturbing aspect of this agreement is that the TPP totally eviscerates the Tenth Amendment of the US Constitution. If, for example, the State of Arizona wanted to outlaw fracking, the TPP could overrule the local legislation if it so desired. To illustrate how far this unconstitutional corporate power extends, the TPP could declare cocaine trafficking to be legal and this could not be challenged by any level of government, nor is it subject to review by the Supreme Court. Obama and his TPP cronies are writing the obituary for the U.S. Constitution.

The TPP represents the total obliteration of American sovereignty. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention another small set of details. How long do you think it will take until the TPP imposes a draconian version of cap and trade upon the American people and small businesses? The cap and trade version of what Obama tried to get passed in the Senate, when he first took office, consisted of reducing everyone’s energy consumption by 80% and utility rates “would necessarily skyrocket.”

  1. I was a bit grouchy today due to frustrating physical problems, so if i came across strongly, sorry!

I just want to add, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if the strikes ARE being manipulated by the powers that be; but any evidence so far that it’s the Govt-vs-Us aren’t convincing.

Shipping lines are always owned by the cabal; recall that the Titanic was not only carrying a whole group of economists opposed to the creation of the Fed, but was owned by JP Morgan’s sole serious competitor. On the other hand, these lines may be largely owned by China, in which case it’s a matter of some sort of punishment for their being in BRICS, or supporting Iran, or WHATEVER.

A scenario similar to one of these would be a reason the cabal would introduce propaganda saying it’s the big bad Obama monster coming to get you. And being very alarmist. Remember, it’s like they say about channeled messages, if they engender fear in you, they’re not to be trusted.

  2. The first link said to “not explain” anything does in fact say “The owners accuse the longshoremen of engaging in severe work slowdowns and, in the Los Angeles-Long Beach complex, of refusing to allow experienced but uncertified crane operators — the linchpins of dock operations — to work. But the union says plenty of qualified workers are ready to meet any demand and accuses the owners of manufacturing a crisis to punish workers financially and to force them to settle.”

This is typical. The owners want to bring in uncertified, non-union workers, no doubt at a lower wage; and the union protests. The NYT, sure to be on the side of big business, describes them as “experienced but uncertified,” thus swaying opinion toward the owners, away from the worker.

And the next article, “No one will say what it’s about,” is the second article I’ve seen from Mother Jones recently that I feel is proof that like so many other originally grassroots orgs or media, the publication has by now been effectively infiltrated or, more likely, bought up (if it’s a publicly-owned company) by the Cabal so they can fool its readers with propaganda that most people, sadly, are too undiscerning to see.

The slant THEY foist upon readers-with-low-discrimination is, hey dockworkers already make a ton of money, why in the world would they be striking? Duh, it’s because the owners (big business), as usual, are trying to bypass the unions that INSURE they’re so well-paid. And also, these days, $26/hr is not living high on the hog; I myself was pulling $45/hr when I worked as an unspecial programmer, and that was 15 years ago. That article is propaganda that stinks to high heaven, yet people just see the phrase “nobody knows why they’re striking” and think it must be true, and go from there. THIS is what needs to end. We can’t be fooled if we stop being fools!

  3. I’m with the people saying watch out for (dis-)info like this. For one thing, anyone who knows what’s REALLY going on knows beyond the shadow of a doubt that it’s not “Obama” nor even “the Obama administration” that has the power and is doing all these evil things and therefore is to be blamed and hated. That in itself should be a HUGE red flag that you’re getting disinfo from a person.

Second, the video about Tacoma conveniently fails to mention that there’s a stirke. It completely makes you think some outside power has simply given the order to “shut down the docks!” And WHAT is with the “TPP IMPLEMENTED ON FEBRUARY 13, 2015” headline about? Excuse me, yes the negotioations around it are disgustingly secretive, but is this or is it not inexcusable alarmism, making us think IT PASSED!?

Yes, unions can be manipulated but sometime they’re not. So at this point, that’s all we know.

Third, like one commenter says, what will Walmart do without goods? Well, since walmart controls a large enough percentage of US trade that they could effectively crash the economy if they wanted to, and this has been the case for many years already, are we to believe they’ll just shrivel up and go out of business? I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re in on crashing the economy. But not to their detriment. How many ultra wealthy people have we heard of who at some point decide they’ve got enough money now, iti’s ok to shut down their lifeblood corporations?

Jean – I posted this on Reader/Input and thought I would post it here as well, Jim Stone has always been my go to man for this kind of information and I have never found him to give incorrect information – he tends NOT to weigh on issues he doesn’t have real insight on…so I believe readers will find this information right on:
Are West coast port closures part of an “elite” plan to create chaos in America before a crack down this summer?

I looked into this quite a bit earlier today and did not know what to make of it, so I waited until now to comment.
    A few things –

    Manipulated strikes?

It has been difficult to get solid answers on this, but some are saying the workers have no need or strong desire to strike, and that this is all scripted for the purpose of creating severe product shortages in America. So far, automobile manufacturers such as Honda who have facilities in the U.S. have started using airfreight to get the parts they need (which are in shortage because of this strike) to the assembly line. So far it has not been anything heavy or bulky, so they are OK but they did have to change shipping methods for a few parts that ran out. With time this will probably get worse.
No one has been significantly hit by this strike in the retail sector simply because the economy is slow and there is a lot of Christmas surplus floating around. But the worry is that if this problem is not cleared up, it could cause major problems mid March, when sales pick up. So far, imports from the West Coast have dropped by a whopping 29 percent, which is huge.

My take: There is virtually no damage from this yet, but if it is not resolved over the next two weeks it could completely collapse the economy. What would happen to Wal Mart if they could no longer get can openers made in China? Ditto for microwaves and big screens . . .

And that gets my mind spinning on a whole new angle – What if the port shut downs are a hoax being played by the global elite for the purpose of crashing America hard? If they rammed the Charlie Hebdo scam down our throats, their control of the media could surely fake a strike and false flag a port closure.

Anonymous posted the following regarding this to the forum:
“The point behind idling the ports, is being made by the private global- corporations, not the unions, in order to empty the shelves in supermarkets nationwide for three or four weeks to force the public to approve the blackmail contained in TPP: This is part of what lies beneath the latest move to allow international corporations to become nation-states worldwide. . . ”

I believe that is a plausible scenario, so plausible it probably nails this quite well, but would like to add a little something – If the elite have a plan for a martial law crackdown on the books for this summer, a manipulated port closure that totally crashed the economy would serve them well. If people are desperate, they will be seeking answers and solutions from anywhere. This is EXACTLY what would be wanted during a martial law crack down and power grab.

THIS IS ONE TO WATCH. Updates regarding these port closures are on the Forum

Hi Jeannie, I applaud your caution in posting any information akin to this one of Mr. Hodge. What we all need is a lot more “real world”, “real-time” intel from regular folks across the country. I in fact am well placed to provide such in at least a small way here in New England. I work in the only warehouse of the largest grocery store chain in New England. Therefore, I get direct intel on all the food shipping happening across the country on a day to day basis, at least all the trucks coming up here to Massachusetts. I can tell you for a fact that, even despite the snow storms that have ravaged us in the last six weeks, there is NO shortage of trucks rolling in daily from all over the 50 states. Even though there may well be a trucker’s strike on the docks in LA, and even though Mr. Fulford claims the Baltic Dry Index is “down” for years now, I have not seen any lull in our receiving food stuffs from other parts of the country, nor our own trucks deliveries to the over 250 stores throughout New England. However, as soon as I do hear and or see even the slightest smackering of the warehouse stock growing thin, I promise you I will let you know. We all have to remember that even people with the best of intentions who only want to help and “warn” others still have no idea if they’re actually spreading good intel. All they’re doing is repeating what they heard from “their guy”. Even Mr. Wilcock does not get his information directly but through so many sources he claims he “vetted”. I will trust what I see happening in real time folks. These snow storms have made the people here into reluctant hoarders, and the grocery store encourages that too, and yet the crowds have nearly put a dent in the inventory, and then it is replenished the very next day. We are working over-time like boat-rowing slaves to keep up and this is supposed to be the lightest time of the year for us. So, fret not my dear. THe real world says that many of these “wise” people are just alarmists and taking their info with many grains of salt is highly advised.

The ports are part of a worldwide economic paradigm…are we to believe that the present fiasco
is a mere 6 years in the making…really??? It is so time for financial pundits and gurus to accord the
rank and file throughout the world at least a tad of common sense.

  8. Lee says:

There’s one big variable that this author is failing to mention – the American people. This trade agreement assumes that we’re going to want to continue buying cheap junk and overly processed food from China, at the expense of personal and national sovereignty. That is a gross over estimate. I see a day when black markets and quiet trading networks completely devalue these corporate subversives. Imagine a day when it will be considered treason to patronize Wall Street or these box retailers. Already China’s economy is taking a beating with a significant number of Americans opting for domestic products, locally grown and home businesses.

It’s that Princess Lea wisdom: “The tighter they squeeze, the more we slip through their fingers!”

Chin up – This will be another instance of the cabal overplaying their hand yet again…

  9. Roberta Pate says:

There are many more cargo ships sitting, unloaded, behind the areas you can not see from this angle. I live in Port Orchard, Washington and when I left home today and got down to the water, there were at least a half dozen ships sitting in between Vashon Island and the Southworth Ferry inlet.

  10. Debbie says:

Maybe this isn’t dis information but I have a hunch that it is….Dave Hodges is well known for dis information……….there are union issues with the ports but it is not as it is being portrayed here. Although I am not one to defend Obama – we have to remember that the Zionists run this show and Netanyahu no doubt wants to crank out as much propaganda about bad- Obama as he can before his speech on March 3…..I believe this is all part of that show…….TPP is the ultimate tyranny and will destroy America but I don’t think it has been signed as yet although we know Obama is trying to fast track it……….the zionist beast loves to create fear and panic. I am not buying this one.

I just found this on break at work. It looks like a pretty good article, and has some of the same kind of things as Hildegard said. This could still lighten up the store shelves for a while, if true.

This article attempts to explain the West Coast labor dispute but doesn’t::
Obama to Intervene in Dispute at West Coast Ports
And this one notes the secrecy around the Union’s position:
There’s a Labor Dispute at West Coast Ports, But No One Will Say What It’s About
