A Catholic priest in Northern Ireland cautioned against practicing yoga and receiving Indian head massages, saying that those who take such risks with their “spiritual health” are opening themselves up to “Satan and the Fallen Angels.”

Father Roland Colhoun warned that those partaking in the ancient practice may be led into the “Kingdom of Darkness.”

“Pope Francis said ‘do not seek spiritual answers in yoga classes’. Yoga is certainly a risk. There’s the spiritual health risk,” he told the Derry Journal.

“When you take up those practices from other cultures, which are outside our Christian domain, you don’t know what you are opening yourself up to,” he added.

“The bad spirit can be communicated in a variety of ways. I’m not saying everyone gets it, or that it happens every time, and people may well be doing yoga harmlessly. But there‘s always a risk and that’s why the Pope mentioned it and that’s why we talk about that in terms of the danger of the new age movement and the danger of the occult today. That’s the fear.”

Prominent officials in the Catholic Church have expressed wariness about yoga in the past.

In 2011, the Vatican’s chief exorcist, Gabriele Amorth, said that yoga leads to a belief in Hinduism, and that “all eastern religions are based on a false belief in reincarnation”.

“Practicing yoga is Satanic, it leads to evil just like reading Harry Potter,” he told the Telegraph.

Even the late former Pope Benedict XVI cautioned Christians in 1989 against partaking in yoga, Zen and other forms of meditation, suggesting that they could “degenerate into a cult of the body.”

One Derry yoga instructor, however, defended the practice, telling the Belfast Telegraph that teaching yoga for 15 years has not stopped her from being a “good, practicing Catholic.” Evelyn Donnelly said that her yoga students come to classes to “learn good posture and breathing to help them with tension in their bodies and to help calm a busy mind.”

“In all the time I have been teaching, not one person has ever expressed an interest going deeper into the spiritual elements of yoga,” she added.

As I respect the right to have a opinion, as you make these claims, do you truly understand the history of Yoga? Yoga is not a religion, it is a science of healing the body and mind as to prepare oneself to honor Christ, or with a ll do respect, a persons right to honor who they believe is their savior.Do you realize how many Christians are in India that practice yoga? Have you been to India and talked to yoga masters about your fear? I have, and interviewed them with this very question. I am a Christian woman who teaches yoga and have helped people work through many health issues, so they can be of fit body and mind to be the devoted person to Christ. Before demanding people what to do and playing god, you may want to educate yourself on the subject. Go there meet the people, ask the questions, and understand the heart of yoga… stop playing god.

  2. M says:

Well, if anyone would know, they would. I take that this is some sort of “confession” that the Popes and bishops all have been doing yoga for ages. Jesuits, too.

    • M says:

Or maybe it is intentionally idiot to distract from real satanic stuff that is coming out and so “satanic” is just a big joke.

Loved your video Spencer! Excellent all around: content, flow, music, etc.
Will have my colleague look at it as an example of good work.

Dear God! So many of these Catholic priests (nuns, bishops, popes, etc.) have their heads rammed so far up that “special place” where “the sun don’t shine”! The stuff that is vomited out of the heads and mouths of certain Catholic priests (nuns, bishops, popes, etc.) is truly “anti-Christ” in the very very very real sense of the term. These Catholic priests (nuns, bishops, popes, etc.) have no clue whatsoever about genuine spirituality / inner SELF development. In fact, the really absurd and bizarre thing about them is that they have absolutely no idea whatsoever what “The Christ” is. It’s kinda funny, isn’t it? They have no idea about “The Christ”!! Really, no idea! Yet they go round pontificating to the world as if they have it all covered! Really freaky stuff! The Christian Church must be one of the most successful marketing projects ever… it conned (and manipulated in the most evil manner) billions of good folk over the last couple of millennia to take part in its “cult / sect”. It must rank as one of the biggest “cult / sect” type thingies to ever exist on this planet.
But there are some “good” folk working in these positions (Catholic priests, etc.). I mean, they have a genuine “pastoral” vocation / concern. They are as shocked as the rest of us at some of the pure junk that their “colleagues” spew out (and at some of the extremely perverted comportment of their colleagues). We would like to hear these good folk speak out more. I’d say the time has arrived for this “outing”. No?
The “Christ” is a level of consciousness. And anyone who achieves that level of consciousness would have zero to do with any limited “cult / sect” mentality like the Christian Church, etc. (except of course to help the poor deceived “Christians” to wake up). The two states just simply don’t mix! You can’t have your cake and eat it! (Well, I thought that was a pretty good expression for this particular context… no? Ok.) Naturally, the “anti-Christ” is the level of consciousness that is contrary to “The Christ” consciousness: The Catholic priest spouting all that nonsense about yoga, etc. is, apart from being very gravely uninformed (read: ignorant), most evidently “anti-Christ”. Not hard to figure that out. Anyone genuinely aspiring to “The Christ” level of consciousness would endorse any and every technique available that helps further one’s spiritual / inner SELF development.
Veronica Keen, thanks for your very interesting work.
Jean Haines, you are a gem.
I don’t know much about it, but I see many people nowadays say that we are now in the time of “the return of the power of the feminine principle”, etc.. I’d say Veronica, Lada Ray, and Jean are good examples of all this.
I’d say this is a good page to mention this on… considering how, not only “anti-Christ” the Christian Church has always been, but curiously how seriously “anti-female” and “anti-feminine-energy” the Christian Church has always been.
Welcome back: the feminine principal. Do your great work now! There are so many men on this planet right now who are prepared to support this return to strength of the feminine energy. (Not sure if I’m expressing it correctly, but you get the general gist.)
    Exciting times!

  5. Anthony says:

This is, undoubtedly, absurd. I wonder though: is the ongoing demonization of the church being done on purpose? There is so much on the MSM lately about child molestation in the church ranks, then all the ritual sacrifice information on the alternative websites…I absolutely agree that it is real, but why is this all coming out now, all at the same time – and concurrently with the demonization of muslims (ISIS) and other religions (like Hinduism, here)?

Something to think about: one of the goals of the globalists is to undermine all existing religions, and then to synthesize them into one faith for everyone. This is even depicted on the murals at the Denver airport. So, I wonder if there is more to this than meets the eye…just an observation, but something very much worth keeping an eye on.

    • Jean says:

Well, for sure we know that one religion that truly needs to be undermined is the one originating from the Vatican . . . as a child, I remember many stories that I considered to be quite ignorant – just like this one. Hugs, ~Jean

  6. Debbie says:

Jean – Are you familiar with Alan Watts (1917 -1978), he was really quite remarkable in that he outed the “game” (what we call the Matrix) in the 70s…he studied Asian culture, Zen, Buddhism and Yoga – in this video he explains why we might not want to dedicate ourselves to yoga…but he is talking about the extremes of yoga – not what is offered in the majority of studios and fitness clubs across America…it is really quite interesting – in this video he explains…..the bottom line really is that all religious training is the control part of the game that people get involved in until they mature past the need for it :

  7. Alkhemist says:

This was hilarious (in a sad way). Someone ought to remind him that Catholicism leads to cannabalism.

  8. Joan says:

    What hypocrisy un believable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!👹👹👹

  9. The Vatican and all who serve her are REAL EXPERTS on SATANISM, they practice it every day of their lives. They DRINK the BLOOD and EAT the BODY…… need I say more…. They practice child abuse and worse, their criminal abuse of the people of Ireland is now out in the open. They are still trying to control people, will they ever learn, we have seen through their LIES, we do not need them. When the Vatican falls we will see for ourselves the vast number of SKELETONS hidden there, many were built into the walls. I look to the day when they are banished from Ireland. They control by FEAR that is based on LIES.

  10. hannacora says:

WHAT A TOTAL BUNCH OF NON-SENSE!!!
Next they will tell us that meditating will lead us to Satan unless of course we are guided and protected by a priest. In following with their view, no doubt that Reiki is also a tool of the devil.
As with all practices, the intention is what is the most important. In my Reiki practice I always include our Divine Creator.
This gibberish equals to more control and more power from the priest hood with the intention to separate us from the divine. That’s my 2 cents worth!
    Endless Blessings! Johanna

    • Jean says:

Johanna, I think you are enough younger than I that you may not be aware of the absolute nonsense that was purveyed to our parents, who then forced it upon us🙂 ~Jean

      • Ron says:

“you may not be aware of the absolute nonsense that was purveyed to our parents, who then forced it on us.”
Yes, and their parents forced it on our parents and so on and so on, going back perhaps thousands of years. Time to break the chains and free the mind, body and spirit.

      • hannacora says:

Jean, I am not as young as you think…I am in my mid 60’s. Nevertheless, I consider myself very lucky that I was not deeply indoctrinated.
French Canada was very steeped in Catholicism and in my grandmother’s age whenever the choice was between choosing a life, the mother or the baby being born, the baby was chosen and the mother left to die. Think of the poor father with a large family and a farm to run. Religion was the reason for large families then. My mother was from a family of 17…my grandparents were very catholic!
Even though I escaped the extremes, I somehow absorbed the principles by osmosis.
Had I been subjected to the full spectrum, I know I would have been a real mess.
        Blessings! Johanna
