One of my favourite quotes of the 21st century is this gem from George W Bush’s Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff, Karl Rove:
“We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality – judiciously, as you will – we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors…and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”When I say a favourite, I am by no means endorsing it. Quite the opposite. I like it because it so wonderfully encapsulates the arrogance of the Globalists, and what they have been up to for the last couple of decades or so. They have indeed been “creating” their own reality, and they have done so in ways that ordinary people hardly have a chance of working out what they’re up to. By the time we start to catch on, they’ve already moved on with their crazed dialectic, and are busy creating their next new reality.
Of course these realities are just lies. . . .
~Jean Notes: I feel the need to return and add my own statement here about what I consider to be Clif’s difficult words for us today: There is much going on that doesn’t show up in the data and some of it could be good. Still, I think we will experience enough of the darkness that Clif suggests is headed our way to begin to wake us up as a population—not just a few of us. Last night I listened to Mark Passio’s heartbreaking rant about the fact that we are not awake – and I do agree, but I think this will change as we get hit with the reality of this collapse and what has been done to us through our continuing failure (and I’m not faulting anyone) to take responsibility for our country and what has been going on. Soon we are going to have to face the fact that no one is going to save us. Hopefully, our response as a nation will be to grow up — and say NO. As we enter a year that may well define us as a species, I pray that we will take the bit and get the job done.
