Net Neutrality is becoming an issue once again!

The US ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, has urged the UN Security Council to put pressure on Russia to make Moscow stop supporting the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
“Many of you said we need to put pressure over the Syrian regime. That’s actually not the case, we need to put pressure on Russia because Russia continues to cover for the Syrian regime,” Haley told a Security Council meeting on Thursday.
“I will continue to press the Security Council to act, to do something, regardless of if the Russians continue to veto it because it is our voice that needs to be heard,” she said.
“All eyes and all pressure now need to go to Russia, because they are the ones who could stop this if they wanted to.”
Responding to Haley’s remarks, Deputy Russian UN Ambassador Petr Iliichev told the UN Security Council that Russia, Turkey and Iran were working to uphold a ceasefire in Syria to allow delivery of humanitarian aid.
“Neither you nor your Western colleagues said a single word about what you are doing to improve the situation,” Iliichev said of Haley.
President Assad outlines US, Israeli plots against Syria . . . and no one does anything? Where is the one organization that has the power to stop this? In the swamp, I think!
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has accused the Israeli regime of providing weaponry and logistical support for terrorists wreaking havoc in the Arab country, saying its proof could be easily accessed on the internet.
In an interview with Venezuela’s Telesur television broadcast on Thursday, Assad said Tel Aviv’s role in the war on Syria included its involvement in a “direct aggression” against Syrian army positions by using warplanes, artillery or missiles.
“Second, it is supporting terrorists in two ways: first by providing direct support in the form of weapons, and second by providing logistic support, i.e. allowing them to conduct military exercises in the areas it controls. It also provides them with medical assistance in its hospitals,” he added.
The Syrian president stressed that those allegations against Israel “are not mere claims or assumptions.”
Rather, “they are facts, verified and published on the internet which you can easily access as proven evidence of the Israeli role in support of the terrorists in Syria,” he said. . . .
Manufacturing consent: Saudis hired UK PR firm to promote ‘Muslim NATO’ and whitewash Saudi war crimes in Yemen
… An international public relations firm has been accused of complicity in whitewashing Saudi Arabian war crimes in Yemen, after signing a deal to promote the Islamic Military Alliance to Fight Terrorism, a Riyadh-dominated military bloc dubbed the “Muslim NATO.”
The firm, Burson-Marsteller, was hired in March to shill the coalition, which was established in Riyadh in December 2015. It has 41 Muslim-majority member nations, and the stated mission of battling Daesh in Iraq and Syria, and combating Islamist militancy across the Middle East and North Africa.
Saudi Major General Ahmed Asiri, currently being investigated by UK police for alleged war crimes, has also suggested the alliance’s purview could be expanded to include fighting Houthi rebels in Yemen, a mission currently conducted by a Saudi-dominated coalition comprised of UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar.
IMAFT is modeled on NATO, and effectively headed by Saudi Arabia. It is comprised primarily of Sunni-majority nations, such as Bahrain, Chad, Egypt, Mali, Nigeria and Somalia, nations which have all incurred intense criticism for their human rights records. Moreover, its religious composition suggests it is a sectarian force aimed at key Saudi regional enemy Iran.
Middle East analyst Dan Lazare previously told Sputnik the bloc effectively strengthens the Middle East’s most repressive regimes, many of which have financed terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda and Daesh.
The appointment of Burson-Marsteller comes at a pivotal point for the alliance, as it prepares to hold its first official meeting of national defense ministers . . .
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Thursday they were concerned over the deteriorating situation on the Korean Peninsula and called for the quickest restart of six-party negotiations. “The situation on the Korean Peninsula was discussed separately… as in our joint opinion with the prime minister it has, unfortunately, deteriorated seriously,” TASS quoted Putin as saying after the talks with Abe in Moscow. “We are urging all the states involved in regional affairs to refrain from military rhetoric and seek a calm and constructive dialogue,” Putin said. “We see the quickest restart of six-party negotiations as a common task.”

Kremlin advisor reveals ‘cure for US aggression’ [full article]
Putin’s advisor also believes that Donald Trump is just “doing what the ruling elite expects him to do”
YALTA, April 21. /TASS/. The only way to stop US aggression is to get rid of dollar addiction, a Kremlin advisor said on Friday.
“The more aggressive the Americans are, the sooner they will see the final collapse of the dollar and by getting rid of the dollar this would be the only way for victims of American aggression to stop this onslaught. As soon as we and China dump the dollar, it will be the end of the US’ military might,” Sergey Glazyev said in an interview with TASS.
Commenting on the policy of the new US president, Glazyev noted that Donald Trump is doing what the ruling elite expect him to do.
“I had no illusions about him, regarding any change in policy. First, America’s aggression around the world is rooted in its aspiration to preserve US hegemony when they have already yielded economic leadership to China,” he said.
“The United States has no tools to make all others use the dollar other than a truncheon. That is why they are indulging in a hybrid war with the entire world to shift their debt burden on to other countries, to confine everyone to the dollar and weaken territories they cannot control.”
“In this context, the anti-Russian hysteria and growing Russophobia can be seen as a long-term factor linked with the specific interests of the United States’ ruling elite,” the Kremlin advisor said.
“In objective terms, they are conducting a global hybrid war and in subjective terms, this war is aimed at us. Moreover, as it always happens when a global leader is changed, the war is for control over rimland nations. During WWI and WWII, Britain acted as an instigator in a bid to keep its global leadership. Now the United States is doing the same. And Trump expresses these interests,” he said.

Since several people think this article is important, I’ve decided to share my response from the Comment Section.
My response to this article (somewhat revised here):
WHERE ARE THE FACTS?
IMO much of this article is pure conjecture! We know nothing of the facts of this wishful thinking! It appears to be all guessing. There is no proof of a ‘new control group, existing in Russia. There is zero proof of a Secret Global Reset Agreement in this article. Am I correct? Why is this being tied in with other conjecture to be treated as fact for those who are wishful thinkers? This raises many questions, and dare I say possible fears for those who don’t understand what is going on?
This writer apparently does not understand the reality of Putin— as I see it, and of course many will disagree with me. My long observation of Putin tells me that he is very fortunately for us an emotionally mature, integrated adult who understands law (both national and international law) and believe that we must live by it. He believes in ‘live-and-let-live’ in our home countries and in the negotiation of difference between countries where problems overlap. It’s that simple.
I don’t really know what this very long story is trying to tell us about what Russia has or knows, etc. The United States had the opportunity to have the same weapons Russia has, and they turned it down — flat. Putin said the same things back in 2007 that he is saying now. Nothing has changed, and most certainly not Putin. It appears to me that our politicians don’t know what to make of him, because they are used to dealing in lies, subterfuge, and bullying, and he always says what he means and means what he says. He does what he says he will do — and no more, although they are constantly trying to attribute false motives to him. Because of the propaganda from the West, if people don’t follow the alternative news carefully, there is no way they can make sense of Putin, but to me he is utterly ‘sensible’! This is why I have suggested over and over again that people take the time to watch him directly, unfiltered, and listen to his own words. If they have done that, perhaps it is possible then to discuss ‘oranges and oranges’. If they haven’t, where is the meeting ground for any honest discussion?
Suddenly, however, it seems we’re being told there is a new control group coming on the scene in Russia. Could it be that folks are waking up to how Putin/Russia actually operate? It continues to be an amazing experience for me to watch them move ahead in spite of all the trashing they take — and the rest of the world is beginning to see them as ‘winners’ and wants to join with them. Saudi Arabia sees a possible win-win situation in some areas, and the rest will remain outside relationships with Russia, etc. Can you look down the road a bit, though, to see that eventually the people of Saudi Arabia likely will rise up and want to be free like those in Russia? Can you see that Americans will want this, as well, because we must look at the truth and realize we are hardly better off than any other ‘imprisoned’ populations — and our lives are only getting worse.
I have said it before, and I will say it again: Putin doesn’t want to change our population, except in the way our country relates to Russia — and he only wants to relate to our country in an honest way. Changing the US is not his job, and from my experience that is the mature way to think. Is it up to us to change our neighbor’s outlook? How can we possibly insist on doing this? If we let our light shine, though, our neighbors might want to make some changes for themselves. Who knows! In the meantime, we go on living our lives, which is exactly what I see Putin doing.
Putin’s behavior in the world, as I observe it, isn’t to change/control his neighbors. He doesn’t have time for that. Instead, he is finding people who will work with Russia in a mutually honest way to improve people’s lives, while leaving the rest of us to figure it out — and maybe catch up. I think he believes we must all ultimately come together, but the time and place must be of our choosing, not his. He certainly isn’t forcing his views on us, as we constantly try to brutally do to the rest of the world. Can you see that?
This is the reason he still holds out his hand to the United States — but believe me, he won’t be suckered by us. He is smart and is letting things be completely exposed, so that we begin to understand we do have different choices. Yes, and I know Paul Craig Roberts has said Russia should have taken the US down when it had the chance, but then we’d wind up living in the same ol’ world we’ve had for centuries, except we’d once again have a new boss who is really the same as the old boss. The choice about our future must be ours, and clearly as a nation we aren’t close to seeing the real truth yet.
I’ve gone on a bit, but hopefully you at least will consider my words, test them carefully against the facts. That is all I can ask 🙂

Field McConnell is a career military and airline pilot who is closely linked to the flying events of 9/11. His Air National Guard unit had F16s over Washington DC on morning of 9/11; Captain Charles ‘Chic’ Burlingame of American Airlnes Flight 77 ( Pentagon) was his college classmate, and the ‘Boeing Uninterruptable Auto-Pilot’ (BUAP} equipped drones were his intellectual property.
It was this BUAP technology that was misused by Field McConnell’s sister, Kristine Marcy, and Hillary Clinton as the Establishment patsied Muslims to facilitate their ‘New American Century’.
When Field exposed ‘Boeing’s Uninterruptible Auto-pilot’ in December 2006, the FAA, U S Department of Justice and most notably the Airline Pilots Association attempted to silence him regarding the Truth of 9/11. He immediately retired from Northwest Airlines and was recruited to fly Airbus jets in Kazakhstan where he flew for 18 months to round out his 31 year airline career.
Field McConnell’s expertise has been used by Russia, Malaysiaand Germany in explaining the four airliners takendown by the illegal modifications, which he first reported on 10 December, 2006.
